Christmas Lighted Boat Parade

When – Saturday December 6, 2002

Where – Join up at Miller Park at 6 PM
Weather permitting

Boats from the Sacramento Yacht Club and the Capital City Yacht Club will join together at the entrance to the Sacramento Marina at 6 PM weather permitting. Use Channel 68 if you are out on the water. Carl and Norlene Cook (Champagne Lady) will lead the parade and should be contacted if you have any questions or need additional information at cell phone number (916) 541-2921. Mickael and Sherry (Dithpicable Too) will also be there to help out and will also be on Channel 68, and can also be reached by cell phone at (916) 601-4351.

Early boaters my join up at the Sacramento Marina, in the new section, to finalize their decorations and share food and drink before the parade.

The parade will proceed up past Old Town Sacramento going just past the River View Marina and return. Please give the folks are River View Marina a chance to see our boats, I know in the past some Captains have turned short.

If you don’t have your boat decorated, you can watch the parade at the Virgin Sturgeon (I know some boats will be there) or at Old Town Sacramento.

After the Parade there may be an informal get together at the Sacrament Yacht Club and Sacramento marina, if weather does not permit a parade we would still like to have a get together at Sacramento Marina and enjoy the decorated boats.
